Held in partnership with RAIN, the Planting Festival was held over two days on 20th and 21st February 2025.

A free event for everyone to enjoy, we were hampered by wet weather on the first day but with some hardy volunteers we created a wildflower bund and bulb planted in Penvale Park, created a RAIN garden next to Hunsbury Library and did some maintenance on the community orchard in Grangewood Park.

On day two the sun shone and there was a good crew of volunteers out planting cherry trees and bulbs in Blacky More open space, helped by the promise of free pizza for lunch!
