Queen Eleanor Interchange - Overnight closures

🚧 UPDATE: A45 Queen Eleanor Interchange 🚧

We've been informed by WNC Highways of upcoming overnight road closures affecting the A45 Queen Eleanor Interchange, Northampton.

📅 When: Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th October 2025 (4 nights)
🕗 Times: 8:00pm – 6:00am
📍 Where: North Bridge at Queen Eleanor Interchange
🚗 What's happening: Surfacing works on the inner ring of the bridge and switching traffic management barriers.

Important details:

• The closure affects northbound traffic only – southbound will remain open.
• A diversion route will be clearly signed.
• Residents and businesses will still have access to their properties.
• Emergency vehicles must follow the diversion – no access through the work area.
• Pedestrians and cyclists will be escorted where necessary (no pedestrian routes will be closed).
• Bus stops on the A45 slip road and near the roundabout (London Rd & Newport Pagnell Rd) will be suspended during these works – please use alternative stops.
