Crafty stuff

We are incredibly lucky to have some brilliant artist people here in East Hunsbury. Even more lucky, that over the past year, they have been working with us to share their skills.

For Easter – we invited local groups to suggest and create crafty activities. Here are the sessions – something for everyone!

Ollie's Spring Flowers wreath

Easter Wreath Making - with East Hunsbury W.I.

Ollie from our local W.I. has suggested this Easter Wreath. See the pattern, which we have selected for you and a picture of the lovely wreath, made by Ollie. This is probably one for the grown-ups, but children may like to help.

Knit Your Own Easter Bunny – from Pauline our Crafty Session Leader

Pauline has been running sessions at our Activity Hub at the Library, for the past year. Here, she takes a simple knitted square and creates a lovely Easter Bunny. Something that the grown-ups and children can work on together.

Easter Rock Painting – with East Hunsbury Rocks – Sarah Docker

Sarah runs an amazing Facebook group, who encourage people to paint and hide and find rocks in our local parks. See here, Sarah's tutorial for Easter. At this time, we are saying please do not pick up rocks in the parks, but paint them at home, to hide later, when we can all get back to normal!
