Born and raised in Abington, I moved to East Hunsbury three years ago, after living in Kingsthorpe for many years. I have two adult children and two wonderful granddaughters, whom I enjoy looking after twice a week. I am now retired but my career was in teaching – secondary schools, further education, adult education and latterly with young people with mental health needs. I enjoy walking and singing in a community choir and I like to go to the theatre and the cinema.

I sought co-option to the Parish Council as I have always believed in giving back to my community as much as I can. I am very happy living in East Hunsbury and I am making good use of our lovely open spaces and other facilities. I hope I can be useful in serving the area where I feel I have been made very welcome.
