Councillor Mary Roach
In 1986, and with my husband and two children, we moved into our newly built home in East Hunsbury.
Living here happily for the past thirty-six years, I have witnessed the parish grow and develop with the availability of further new homes, new schools, both primary and secondary, shops, churches, GP surgeries, leisure facilities and so much more.
Our community is now well rooted and it is my privilege and gives me great pride to have a role within such a supportive and generous community. As a Parish Councillor since 2019, I am certain East Hunsbury has a good and well respected Parish Council, one that makes a difference to the lives of the people who live here and is committed to the care of our local environment.
As for me; after a career in Education, I am now retired. I consider myself very active, enjoying my family, and the very many groups and activities in which I have become involved.
Mary is a member of the Resources Committee, the Community Engagement Committee and the Parks & Open Spaces and Climate Change Committee.
